Champagne at the right temperature. Catering trays that are actually food-safe. A cake that survives a 37-degree afternoon. The household fridge can't do a wedding - a mobile coolroom in the driveway or beside the marquee can, and it's usually one of the cheapest things on the whole wedding budget.
Most of our bookings are weddings - backyard receptions, winery and paddock weddings across the Macedon Ranges, and venues all over Melbourne's north and west. We deliver the unit cold the day before or the morning of, set it up where the caterers want it, and collect it when the party's over. It runs off a normal power point and is quiet enough that you'll forget it's there.
Which coolroom for how many guests?
Our standard 6x4 coolroom comfortably handles weddings of up to around 100 guests - drinks and catering together. For bigger guest lists, multi-day celebrations or serious quantities of florals and food, the large 8x5 gives you roughly double the space. Tight venue access? The low profile unit fits under carports and low branches.
What does it cost?
From $400 for the 6x4 (from $450 for the 8x5), including delivery, setup, pickup and up to 7 days' hire - so there's no mad scramble to return anything the morning after. We confirm your exact all-inclusive price before you book.
Is it wedding-venue friendly?
Yes. Every unit is washed and sanitised before your hire, fitted with internal lights for after-dark drink runs, whisper-quiet, and secured with a drawbar lock. All it needs is a standard 3-pin power point within about 20 metres and a level spot.
